Tuesday
went for 50m breastroke and 100m freestyle, which were the first two events. think i did like average. got around 4th for breastroke. then i was unlucky to get approx. 4 club swimmers (including Wei Shen!!) for 100m frees. finished around 6th (we didn't really know our positions.) but that was fun! compared to others i don't swim regularly other than during cca anyway. at least there're people lousier than me!
don't think i'll go for future heats. they're all like 200m, and my stamina really stinks on land and water.
i am doing everything i can to grow tall and fit. (snicker) skipping rope, sit-ups, pull-ups.. can do around 46 sit-ups a minute now!
for no apparent reason i'm trying to be a Kenneth Goh and start saving money. for example, skipping recess and other stuff. wow! plus my earnings i ended up with more than my original moolah on hand! (i splurged on slam dunk comic issue #4 this afternoon however... sob)
this week is so slack in RI. today we had a NE Lunch Talk by an old boy who happens to be the deputy director of MCYS. we got to eat in the dining hall! the food was obviously great, but we had to listen to his not-too-boring talk / slideshow before starting lunch. passed the time by talking with Kenneth about Pokemon and sick stuff. (HE started it! about how females... AW where has the cute innocent fuzzy gone to??)
as usual i finished lunch pretty fast and we started to crap around. Russell was pouring other people's juice into his cup for fun so i put a piece of honeydew inside then both of us kept putting fruits (from the dessert) in. then we called it a cocktail and offered it to Jonathan. then we took photos with cameraphones. then Chester did a fish face in imitation of the 1M form teacher Ms Neo, which we suspect pissed Ms Chia off. all in all it was a very common day. nuff said.
tomorrow we're going on a learning journey! that is, an excursion to Asian Civilisations Museum. best part, there're no lessons and we're dismissed like 12-something!
i managed to sell approx. 30 packets of snacks today, which was all i brought. strange that all the stupid 1P classmates suspect that i make 100% profit and boycott me, but people of higher thinking orders from neighbouring classes keep buying from me that who gives a damn about 1P. i charge cheaper than stupid Gan Wei Rong! who happens to be the monitor and declared 1P's Most Reputed Snack Seller or some crap like that.
