yay! i'm finally in polo! polo's fun - so far. we get to play water rugby in the shallow pool after training! only thing last week the other coach took over (the usual coach was at the track heats), and made us swim so many laps along with the c div boys. and everyone clearly heard him say 'f*** up' quite loudly. lol!
first chinese test. i got 35/50! really coulda done better. highest was 46! but two people failed. it was so funny! those two who failed were asked to come out, and the rest of us thought it was something good, and started clapping, and the teacher said something like "don't clap if you don't know what it is for!" ah well. cheery!
jeremy's in chinese orchestra. omg! and he was so f***ed-up arrogant and irritating that i couldn't resist teasing him.
japanese is so hard! there're different counting systems for animals, books, "general items", days, dates, rubbish. and there's a test in 2 weeks? blah. got 8/20 for a recent dictation.
today is total defence day! the "commemoration" was darn boring. they invited some old boy (literally old - oops!) to talk about the war days. and i couldn't hear half the words - either his articulation stinks or the mike is too high - so i was trying to sleep without looking too obvious. which was made harder by the fact that the principal and other big shots were seating a metre away from me. yawns. and after that they got the ncc people to move a plaque, which commemorated rafflesians who died in the war, to the stage. hmm.. the plaque looks like all the other plaques in ri.
yay! there's a GE camp at the end of this term. out of school! hope we do something fun. we're going to visit MINDS children and go to some school.
