the ceremony was plain STUPID. esp when you come at 7am, hover around until 7.15, start to read streats, are bothered by gays and "geeks", and have to squeeze on a canteen bench with the likes of jinsheng for half an hour before proceeding hall-ward to be a spectacle by proud papas and mamas craning their necks to see their ah boys + girls graduating.
the video was hardcore propaganda! some rooms featured i didn't even see before! i suspect they filmed it somewhere else, like those shows. but then, i'm feeling stupid today so don't take my comments into account.
also, they were stressing on just a few points. "robotics, robotics!, ROBOTICS!" ditto for some good p1 curiculum which i believe all schools have to follow anyway. hello, how is this relevant to p6 parents? they probably hope bypassing workers will be encouraged to bring their children here.
THEN there was mr. chin, bobby yoke choong. his joke was okay, except i thought everyone was laughing out of courtesy. we also realized the parent rep was an actress. (actually i know her! my former busmate's mother. their house is HUGE!)
then there was this p5 rep who spewed loads of chinese lingo that i couldn't understand and at which jackass was laughing away at.
then there was Toh Jiaying. what can i say? upon retrospect, she's probably faker than CTA! (don't worry, she's still a close runner-up) her voice really had the goosebumps effect on me! spooky. "i am deeply honoured to represent.." ugh.
so that's that. we graduated! yay there was food! i was feeling darn hungry so i just piled stuff onto some small styrofoam plate. (the napkins were of so lousy quality! rough and such.) jeremy ate 9 spring rolls and da powed 3. haha. now i know what to attribute his SIZE to.
so we were talking all the way until 11.40. can't believe everyone left so early! sighs. nevermind. shall meet them on my birthday!
i've decided to make a nostalgic set of 23 pokemon cards! using pokemonzeo blanks. shall upload them on shutterfly and send to everyone - thanks for the emails, whoever that was bothered to print out everyone's particulars!
5 more days to a very important day! got this really weird feeling. like i'm gonna die on my birthday. if i get anything below 260 everyone in the family's going to go nuts. well i can always blame it on the tough science paper!
